Non-Woven Fabric

In Moni Happy diapers, non-woven fabric is far more than a single material—it is precisely engineered for different functions:

• Top-Sheet Non-Woven Fabric: soft to the touch, yet highly breathable thanks to the gaps between its fibers.
• 3D Leak-Guard (Leg Cuff) Non-Woven Fabric: typically made of hydrophobic (water-repellent) non-woven, it rapidly blocks lateral liquid flow while still letting air pass through—so urine won't leak from the sides even when the baby is on the move.
• Outer Composite Non-Woven Fabric: a softer non-woven layer is laminated over the PE backing film to improve hand-feel and muffle the rustling of the plastic film, making wear quieter and more comfortable.

Absorbent Paper / Tissue

Used as the distribution-layer material, it rapidly receives urine seeping through the top sheet and spreads it laterally along the paper's fiber direction, guiding the liquid to disperse evenly across the entire absorbent core. This prevents local over-swelling of the SAP that would otherwise clog the downward path of liquid—boosting absorption speed and reducing rewet.

Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP)

We use SAP from Japan's San-Dia and Sumitomo:

When urine (an electrolyte-containing aqueous solution) contacts the SAP, sodium ions exchange with those in the water, generating osmotic pressure that drives water molecules rapidly into the polymer. Meanwhile, the cross-linked molecular chains prevent unlimited swelling, ultimately forming a stable hydrogel that locks liquid firmly within its 3D network—so no water is squeezed out even under the pressure of the baby's weight.

With fast absorption and strong water retention, its high holding capacity directly determines how dry the diaper surface stays—after taking in liquid, the SAP's surface tension drops, and together with the top sheet's hydrophobic fibers it effectively blocks rewet. This is the technical guarantee behind “keeping skin dry for hours.”

Polyethylene (PE) Film

The PE microporous breathable film has pores far smaller than liquid water molecules yet larger than water-vapor molecules. It therefore blocks liquid urine from leaking out while letting the warm, humid air (water vapor) inside the diaper escape—avoiding the stuffy conditions that worsen rashes.

• Absorbent-paper distribution layer → disperses liquid evenly and improves SAP efficiency;
• San-Dia / Sumitomo SAP → turns liquid into gel and locks it in powerfully;
